Kerastase VoxBox

As you guys probably already know i received Kerastase Resistance from Influenster for testing purposes. I have been using it for the past 2 weeks already and so far i love it. Its specifically for very damaged over processed fine hair ; which applies to me as i have mentioned before i have bleached my hair a couple times i feel that because of that some of my hair doesn't curl the same because i probably damaged my hair follicles; so my hair needs all the help it can get, but if you don't have damaged hair then it can probably help maintain your hair strong and healthy.
Okay so its a shampoo and conditioner, the weird thing is that it actually tells you to use the conditioner before the shampoo, so i was a bit skeptical because you usually use the conditioner afterwards as the shampoo can leave your feeling dry and stiff if you use it alone, and if you have curly hair then you know that your hair cannot survive without conditioner. Well i went ahead and did what it said to do, i applied the conditioner first massaged it on for a couple minutes and rinsed. Then i squeezed out some shampoo on my hand and i noticed that the texture feels a lot different then a normal shampoo, i massaged it on my head and it lathered up pretty nice and when i rinsed my hair didn't feel dry at all. So i give Kerastase two thumbs up :) Oh and did i mention that it smells amazing ? and your hair will smell like it for days, i usually go 3-4 days without washing my hair; not because i don't like washing my hair but because curly hair doesn't produce as much oil as straight hair normally does therefore we can go longer without washing our hair.

My Curly Hair Care Routine

Hey there  everyone :)
I finally decided to share my hair routine with anyone who is interested in achieving big bouncy voluminous hair or if you're looking to tame your frizzy hair. Anywhere you see frizz that means there are curls/waves wanting to come out and with the right hair routine and products you can achieve it.

I have a long history of dying and bleaching my hair, i also went through that straightening my bangs everyday and leaving the rest curly phase lol (eww). With that being said i haven't been the best to my hair, i would just throw some gel on and that would just weigh my curls down and did no benefit to my hair. Thank God i got into the hair industry. I learned to trim my hair every 3-4 months ;depending on how damaged your is, the sooner you get trims the better. Also i learned that for curly hair its very important to get the right haircut, cutting too many layers on curly hair can make it look boxy.

Moving on to the hair routine..
The first step is to start off with freshly washed hair. Beauty Bundles by Beholder EL (check out their IG @bbbybeholderel)
had the courtesy of sending me their shampoo and conditioner along with 2 products from their hair care collection (Everyday miracle treatment and Le deux) which I've been using for a while now and I love.

Once you have towel dried your hair; my hair is extremely painful to detangle so i like to use the everyday miracle treatment; which is for detangling and to defrizz and i mix it with my organic coconut oil and this is the best! it makes it alot easier to brush out my hair and honestly i use coconut oil for EVERYTHING.

After your hair is nice and detangled. I dont have a lot of hair so i only part my hair in the middle to create two sections to distribute the products in my hair. I use the everyday miracle treatment again because its my favorite, it contains uv filters; which is essential if you live in very hot climates such as Florida and it feels great on my hair i sometimes wear it alone because it helps repair damaged hair. I take about 3-4 pumps mix that with the le deux and then mix them with the coconut oil, castor oil(I read that castor oil helps thicken and grow hair so that's what i use it for), moroccan oil(not in picture above because i ran out of it) and my biosilk silk therapy (yes i use a
lot of oils in my hair) and then i  run my fingers trough my hair and make sure i disperse the products evenly onto the first section and repeat on the other section.

Final step, to achieve voluminous hair and defined curls you are going to scrunch your hair until dry; you can take breaks but the more you continue scrunching the bigger the hair. Also i like to get volume up at the top,so running your fingers through your scalp while lifting it up, will create volume at the top as well. This whole process takes me about 35 min, but to save yourself some time you can use a diffuser, i prefer not to use it too often because i try to avoid as much heat on my hair as possible to keep my hair healthier. Once your hair has the desired volume i like to use a little bit of mousse or spritz it with some light weight hairspray to keep it in place throughout the day :).
